Old Granary CL York Build it and They Will Come!
HistoryWe started the C.L. because we wanted to share our lifestyle with people who would appreciate the beautiful scenery and animals that are around us. We didn't realise it would also bring us new friends, as many people are return visitors. The C.L. also gave our neighbours in-laws another string to their bow, as they come to visit on a weekend, and take the role of wardens, looking after our campers, and the general maintainance of the C.L. which they do to a very high standard. Thanks M&D. It was mostly due to Maureen and David's hard work, that we were voted 3rd best C.L. of 2010 and 2012 and we were invited to the Houses of Parliament for the presentation, it was here that we were made aware of how much caravaners bring to local communities, by buying and running caravans, and using local amenities whilst staying in the U.K. The Caravan Club is very well supported by the Government.
